The Web Accessibility Group (WAG) is housed at Georgia Tech. Its purpose is to bring together individuals in Higher Ed seeking to navigate the complex requirements of state and federal accessibility standards and guidelines. WAG receives funding through the State of Georgia ADA Coordinator's Office under the umbrella of the AccessGA initiative, a statewide partnership supporting state agencies including Higher Ed institutions and technical colleges. WAG offers web accessibility information and assistance through its wiki and listserv. It also provides monthly online webinar offerings, drawing on local, national and international talent and expertise on topics related to digital accessibility.

This webinar is provided by AccessGA and WAG, initiatives of the Center for Inclusive Design & Innovation at Georgia Tech. AMAC Accessibility and CATEA, the Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access, are now the Center for Inclusive Design & Innovation (CIDI), a research, service, and education center within the College of Design at Georgia Tech.
The Web Accessibility Group (WAG) began at UGA in 2011 and transitioned to Georgia Tech's [http://www.amacusg.org/ AMAC] Accessibility Center in 2015. Its purpose is to bring together individuals in higher education attempting to navigate the complex [http://www.access-board.gov/guidelines-and-standards/communications-and-it/about-the-section-508-standards Section 508] standards and [http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20/ Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0]. WAG currently offers web accessibility information and assistance through a wiki, listserv, and monthly online meetings where expert presenters are invited to share best practices and solutions. WAG works closely with AMAC's [http://accessga.org/ AccessGA] project.

He earned a bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts and English at Columbus State University. His interest in writing and performance can be traced as far back as elementary school. His background in writing and criticism in the area of dramatic and poetic literature has led to several publications in the area of literary art. Christopher has served for a number of years in a student support position at Columbus State University. He has a passion for providing the necessary accommodations of all students, regardless of their ability, and has channeled that passion with the work he does at Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation.
