The Web Accessibility Group (WAG) began at [http://www.uga.edu UGA] in 2011 and transitioned to Georgia Tech's [http://www.amacusg.org AMAC Accessibility] in 2015.  Its purpose is to bring together individuals in higher education attempting to navigate the complex requirements of [http://www.access-board.gov/guidelines-and-standards/communications-and-it/about-the-section-508-standards Section 508] and the [http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20/ Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0].  WAG currently offers web accessibility information and assistance through a wiki, listserv, and monthly online meetings where expert presenters are invited to share best practices and solutions.

About Web Accessibility Group (WAG) Spotlight

The Web Accessibility Group (WAG) began at UGA in 2011 and transitioned to Georgia Tech's AMAC Accessibility in 2015. Its purpose is to bring together individuals in higher education attempting to navigate the complex requirements of Section 508 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. WAG currently offers web accessibility information and assistance through a wiki, listserv, and monthly online meetings where expert presenters are invited to share best practices and solutions.
