About Web Accessibility Group (WAG) | Spotlight | |
The Web Accessibility Group (WAG) began at UGA in 2011 and transitioned to Georgia Tech's AMAC Accessibility Solutions and Research Center in 2015. Its purpose is to bring together individuals in higher education attempting to navigate the complex Section 508 standards and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. Dr. Beatriz Potter, a faculty member in the Modern and Classical (MCL) Languages Department at Valdosta State University (VSU) has been a leader in addressing accessibility issues in online courses and instructional materials. |
