Accessible formats include braille, large print, audio and digital text. Accessible materials afford the flexibility to meet the needs of a broad range of individuals with disabilities.

The chart below provides a brief overview of the material formats currently offered, in addition to recommended user and assistive technology examples. All formats are tested with assistive technology to ensure quality and compliance, and file size is adjusted for usability and delivery. In order to ensure efficient and timely response to our customers, AMAC implements [[AMAC%20Production%20Policies|these policies]] regarding the production of alternative material.

Note that the below prices may not include some expenses such as the cost of purchasing a hard copy of the book when necessary or minor administrative fees.

Additionally, if AMAC has already created the alternative materials you need in the desired format for another customer, we pass along a 30% discount on all re-use orders. As a central digital repository with almost 20,000 titles in a variety of formats, this ensures AMAC provides excellent cost savings to our customers.
