JAWS: Keyboard Shortcuts

General

  • Say all = Insert + down arrow
  • Stop Talking = End or Ctrl
  • Read by line = Up/down arrows
  • Decrease voice rate = Alt+Ctrl+Page Down

Windows

  • Find File or Folder from Desktop = F3
  • What program screen am I on = Insert+T
  • Right click = F10
  • Closes application that is active = Alt+F4

Adobe

  • Alternate between file and left column = F6
  • Go to page... = Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Next page = Ctrl+Page down
  • Previous page = Ctrl+Page up

Microsoft Word

Show all headings in document = Insert+F6
