• A student record is added only once when first setting up the student

• Fields marked with asterisk (*) are required

  • You cannot save a record if a required field is blank

• Student contact and demographic data

• Status

  • Active, Inactive, Pending

  • Default is Active

  • Reset at beginning of new term to Inactive

• Notes

  • Cumulative

  • Date, Time, and User stamped

  • These are not the case notes about a student

• A SAM student record should be related to a NEON student record if the student receives AMAC services

  • SAM and NEON student data must be manually kept in synch

  • SAM is considered authoritative source
