Apple iOS

  • Downloading zipped files to an iPad requires the use of a zip utility such as WinZip for iPad available as a free download from iTunes [1]After installing WinZip, zipped files, including pdfs, can be opened in iBooks.
  • Word DOCs can be read using text-to-speech by enabling voiceover and using the Pages app
  • PDF's can be read with iBooks using VoiceOver.
  • Audio on CD books can be transferred and listened to using the Learning Ally audio app

Note: You must have Voiceover enabled for certain accessibility features to be available on your device


Android
